Nutrition Month 2017

          We celebrate nutrition month during the month of July to spread the 
awareness of the importance of a healthy nutrition. In this month people are encouraged to eat healthy and exercise to achieve a healthy body. Many schools celebrate Nutrition Month and in this event they let students exercise and let them eat or bring nutritious foods at school. The purpose of this is not only to let us be aware of our nutrition but also to let us have a healthy, long and happy life. 

This year 2017 the theme was "healthy diet gawing habit for life" it means that if we maintain healthy diet we will achieve a healthy body and preventing us from harmful sickness. When we celebrated Nutrition Month in our school, we had an exercise or zumba to maintain our physical and overall fitness and also to stretch our bodies. It was fun having this activity because we get to keep our bodies healthy and fit and it was fun to have the exercise together with the teachers and the other students.






We also had a cooking challenge wherein students get to cook healthy and nutritious food. Many were up to the challenge, some students cooked vegetables and some cooked fish and a bit of meat mixed with vegetables. It was fun to a have a cooking challenge like this because we get to learn how to cook healthy nutritious foods and it was a fun experience also where we can learn from. It is always important that we learn from our experiences so that in the future we can use those and learn from it.
